COG stands for center of gravity. This lead system is so called because the leader is fixed exactly at the center of gravity of the lead so that the fish that sucks the bait will be in contact with the whole mass of the lead. It is best to use this sinker on hard bottoms. There are two kinds of shapes. The Flat Pear and the Flat Distance. It is important to keep in mind that the leadcore section is numbered (on the swivel barrel) in order to use them with the proper sinker. Otherwise, the system will not work properly.
